一、內容：
Viewing language as a form of human communication, this course is designed to help you to become a more effective communicator in English in the sense of gaining information and expressing yourself. You will be exposed to a variety of written materials such as essays, film reviews, poetry, short stories, etc. In addition, to cope with the actual needs in college life, you will practice oral as well as written English skills through a series of communication projects such as writing memos and letters, discussion in groups, and oral presentations.
